Discover how NLA's models are made and explore the evolution of model-making over the years, including the impact on details like colour and design. Learn how these changes enhance the accuracy and representation of the past, present, and potential future of our city.

How effective are the current models in capturing our city's story? Do they clearly represent the past, present (and in particular) the future of our city? Could innovations such as lighting scales provide new ways to better convey these narratives? We will discuss how people interact with the models today and uncover opportunities to improve understanding—particularly for city planning and development.

Finally, we'll consider the possibilities for expansion, whether moving north or south, and how these decisions align with maximising the potential of our models to shape and reflect urban growth.
