The UK/EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement came into effect on 1st January 2021, changing everything from winning work in Europe to importing goods from the EU.

This seminar will take you through everything you need to know about the new trade agreement, and provide advice, guidance and insight from the RIBA’s Brexit experts and architects practicing in Europe. Topics will include:

-What services UK architects can provide into EU member states
-Navigating the new system for recognising professional qualifications
-Visas and immigration for permanent hires and temporary projects
-Tax, payroll and VAT
-Practioner advice on working in Europe

You will also be able to put your own questions forward to the panel. This seminar is recommended for those considering working in the EU in the future, hiring international talent, or want to understand the impact of the new agreement on ‘business as usual’ for UK architects.
