The City of London Corporation are currently developing and delivering a range of projects that are transforming the Square Mile’s streets and spaces including All Change at Bank, St Paul’s Gyratory, and the City Cluster and Pedestrian Priority programmes. They are also consulting on revisions to their Transport Strategy, which sets the long-term framework for how the City's streets are designed and managed. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss recent trends in travel in the City and other emerging opportunities and challenges, and how transport and public realm policy and projects are responding to these to ensure the Square Mile remains a great place to live, work and visit.

In this discussion, Bruce McVean, Assistant Director, Policy & Projects, City of London Corporation and Roy McGowan, Managing Director at Momentum Transport will also explore how the City Transport initiatives are contributing towards the government’s Decarbonising Transport objectives and the Mayor’s air quality improvements, as well as towards the longer term planning required for climate challenge, transport infrastructure and LTNs.
