Discover the ways good design can improve the healing process at this panel discussion, focusing on cutting-edge architectural projects by Herzog & de Meuron.

Join Christine Binswanger, architect and Senior Partner at Herzog & de Meuron; healthcare expert and former hospital director Henrik Schødts; and professor of surgical education Dr. Roger Kneebone for a discussion about the power of design to improve healthcare environments.

Irrespective of the specific form, Herzog & de Meuron extend the concept of the hospital as a purely medical tool to include comfort and livability, creating a place of holistic healing. The discussion will focus on several projects—REHAB Basel, a clinic for neurorehabilitation and paraplegiology; the New North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød, Denmark, currently under construction; and the soon-to-be-completed children’s hospital Zurich, among others.
