Iconic mid-century architecture, fantastic vistas and exciting vibes! Join us for architectural sketching workshop with London Drawing tutor and landscape artist – the brilliant Jonathan Farr.

Jonathan is a professional landscape artist based in Mexico and has sketched across the globe, as well as the UK. His expansive work is massively expressive, dynamic and exciting, capturing the excitement of urban sketching. He is a a really inspiring and engaging tutor- with so much to offer with regard to technique and approach so you can build foundations of your own style.

– so prepare for a fascinating afternoon of creativity and exploration!

This session will see us going out on drawing safari around the iconic architecture of the South Bank Centre. With fabulous 1950’s and 60’s interiors and wonderful interior vistas and views of the Thames- this is a brilliant space to explore architecture in your drawing!

The session will include short demonstrations and information on architectural drawing and point perspective, with short out door (weather permitting) and indoor drawing sessions. We will be working in pencil and pen and ink with lots of tips and ideas from Jonathan about working out and about in a sketchbook.
