New York’s legendary Chelsea Hotel - once an icon of 1960s counterculture, home to Janis Joplin, Leonard Cohen, Andy Warhol and more - is being renovated.
In the chaos of the construction, Dreaming Walls takes us through the hotel's storied halls, and follows the eclectic residents as they protest against the hotel's administration or hole up in their rooms. The last remaining holdouts, and the walls themselves, now face a turning point in their common history.
