Earls Court – the largest cleared development site in London – is a transformational opportunity for the capital. The Earls Court Development Company's new masterplan – crafted by award-winning Hawkins Brown and Studio Egret West in partnership with the local community – will provide a mixed-use development that includes housing, workspace, culture and landscape.

Hear from the developers, designers and local community about the bold plans to transform the disused land into a revived piece of city for the 22nd century, celebrating creation, innovation and inclusivity.

This summer will see the submission of the outline planning application and detailed proposals for the first phase of the development. This was

the culmination of years of hard work and consultation with the local community, whose views and feedback were central to developing these designs which underpin the masterplan pillars of an inclusive neighbourhood, innovation, culture and nature, as well as a commitment to net zero.

This is, however, just the beginning of the next chapter in the story of Earls Court and we hope you can join us on the journey.

The London Society

About The Society is for all those who love London. It was founded in 1912 by a group of influential Londoners concerned about the lack of planning for the future of the capital. Early members included architects, planners and engineers alongside politicians and artists. They came from a range of backgrounds and many would go on to shape Britain during the century that followed. The Society's motto is - Valuing the past; looking to the future!
