For this special event, we’ll be opening up the discussion around protection in design and how this impacts the ‘home’. This can relate to regeneration, heritage and intellectual property of young creatives and designers.

Special Panel event with Larry Bothway Co-Founder and Director of POoR Collective, Stephanie Edwards Co-Founder and Director of Urban Symbiotics, Akil Scafe-Smith one-sixth of Resolve Collective, Architecture graduate Bareera Borhan and Space Black, exploring How We Protect the Home.

With a special screening of a film by Cultural Producer Tapiwa and how she captured the V&A Photography process when working on the Carpenters Estate.

See in the weekend with an open-air music event not to be missed! Space Black is a collective founded by an interdisciplinary team of young Engineers, Architects, Urban Planners and Artists. Their mission is to create human centred designs that revolve around the experience of Black people, People of Colour and marginalised communities to promote their well-being and happiness.

We’re celebrating the significant impact of Black artists on British culture with a live DJ set by female DJs. During their set, we’ll share footage from the Black Cultural Archive on reel throughout the performances.
