Talk + networking reception: Monday, 26 September
Victoria Thornton OBE Hon FRIBA, Founder, Thornton Education Trust, will present the different approaches and initiatives the Trust is advancing to stimulate collaboration and knowledge sharing, and encourage youth-led design and community approaches to become central to the DNA of all built environment practices.

The Thornton Education Trust’s five year roadmap focusses on fostering a ‘community of practice’ that encourages youth-led design and community engagement approaches. The goal is to bring together inspiring individuals and organisations already engaged in delivering co-design, mentoring or outreach programmes via its Inspire Future Generation Awards and TET Dialogues. Through these initiatives the Trust helps to nudge future policy in the right direction towards a more inclusive, sustainable and community focussed built environment.
