King’s Cross is one of the largest and most successful redevelopments in London. Over the past 20 years, what was an underused industrial site has been transformed and rejuvenated with new streets, squares and parks, homes, shops, offices, galleries, restaurants, schools, and even a university.

On this walking tour, we explore the industrial heritage of the site and learn the story of its radical transformation.

Under the guidance of architect, Ross Logie, we begin our tour at King's Cross Station - London's oldest existing terminus station. We review several recent projects by notable architects such as Thomas Heatherwick, BIG, David Chipperfield and Alison Brooks. Our looping walk ends back at King's Cross Station.

Seeing Architecture

About Are you interested in seeing and understanding more about the architecture of London? Join us on an informative walk with an architect as your guide. Our group tours explore the past, present and future of London’s architecture and urbanism. We specialise in giving insight on some of the most interesting and influential modern buildings. We also see how these buildings are shaped by their historical and social context. Our scheduled tours are aimed at London residents and visitors who are interested in architecture and design and who want to experience a walking tour that goes beyond the tourist routes.
