Join for 3 fun packed days exploring the foundations of architecture with games, making and constructing + a bit of theory and history .
Structured over 6 sessions the summer school is aimed at 7-12 year olds who have an interest in buildings, design, the built environment - or who just like making stuff :D - but would like to know a bit more about the theory / history / psychology behind it all.
There will be 2 sessions on each day (one morning, one afternoon) - Saturdays 5th, 12th and 19th August between 10.30am and 4pm. They will take place at Manor House Library, Lewisham.
The sessions will be taught by experienced facilitators, historians and architects who have previously run child-centred activities for TATE, British Library, Museum of Childhood, Camp Bestival and the British Museum
Costs: £50 for each day per child, £150 per child for all three sessions.
Architecture For All is a not for profit established by architects and educators keen to open up the world of the built environment and its history, and inspire the next generation of architects.
