New for Winter/Spring 2021, The London Ambler presents a season of online events exploring the linear history of London's Roman Roads and their evolution as part of the contemporary city! The series follows the journey of six of the capital's epic arterial routes from the centre of town out to the city's limits uncovering architecture, settlement and change over the past 2,000 years along the way!

This walk explores the linear history, architecture and settlement along Edgware Road, aka the A5, aka Watling Street North - the historic roman route north west to St Albans and Wroxeter from Marble Arch to Stamore via Kilburn, Cricklewood and Edgware.
