The London Society is delighted to host Dr Angela Kukula, CEO of MedCity, to discuss the opportunities and challenges that growth in life sciences is bringing to London. We are also privileged to host the event at Allies and Morrison, lead architects on one of London’s life sciences clusters at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. This event will feature a presentation by Dr Angela KuKula, followed by an interview and audience discussion led by London Society Health trustee Clare Delmar

MedCity is the cluster organisation for the world-leading health and life sciences sector in London. Founded by the Mayor of London in partnership with the city’s Academic Health Science Centres, MedCity fosters international collaborations between biotech, medtech and pharma companies and the capital’s world-leading life sciences ecosystem to supercharge innovation, drive inward investment and build skills and talent across the sector in the UK.

The London Society

About The Society is for all those who love London. It was founded in 1912 by a group of influential Londoners concerned about the lack of planning for the future of the capital. Early members included architects, planners and engineers alongside politicians and artists. They came from a range of backgrounds and many would go on to shape Britain during the century that followed. The Society's motto is - Valuing the past; looking to the future!
