Londons is Mass’ first long term collective project. Started from the desire to explore a common subject matter through multiple points of view, it documents the changing face of our city offering a snapshot of what is London in 2021.

At the beginning of the year, while the world seemed to come to a halt, London kept growing, almost defiant of the stillness that surrounded it. With this in mind a selected group of photographers has been invited to explore an area of their choice and bring their personal interpretation to it.

The exhibition is a curated selection of the work produced and the London people are invited to come and see it on show at the Building Centre. Now that London is reopening we hope to inspire people to rediscover the city and its dynamic spirit.

Mass Collective

About Mass is a collective of photographers documenting the built environment. We are photographers interested in exploring the ways in which humans modify and intervene in the urban and natural landscape. Cities, towns, infrastructures, buildings, industry, we look at how these elements interact and shape the contemporary world and society.
