The London School of Architecture Collective Peer Development programme is for all those concerned with the built environment and the future of cities.

In September 2020 the London Borough of Lewisham appointed Architects Ash Sakula and RCKa to work on a draft of the Small Sites Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), which has just been published and is in its consultation phase. The document provides advice and guidance on the implementation of policies and proposals contained in Lewisham’s Local Plan. SPDs are prepared in line with the National Planning Policy Framework and Regulations 11 to 16 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012. Cany Ash, co-founder of Ash Sakula, will use this CPD to explain how small sites can be used to improve the quality of new homes, improve housing supply, identify sites and areas for intensification; and more, based on the research undertaked for the Small Sites SPD
