Unveiling the results of an NLA Members Survey of over 180 built environment professionals, this report brings to light the key challenges the sector is facing, but also the lessons learned to return to the office and to ultimately ‘build back better’.

Marking the launch of the NLA report WRK/LDN: Office revolution? and after a year of working from home, we look at how workspaces across London have evolved adjusting to the COVID-19 pandemic and how they will need to adapt for the future.

The shock of the pandemic has spotlighted ongoing questions around the role and purpose of the office and how we work in the capital. Early commentaries tended to focus on whether the ‘death of the office’ was finally about to happen, but in this report, we seek to capture the more balanced reflections and the apparent consensus that the pandemic has accelerated trends that were there all along.
