The School of Architecture and Cities invites you to attend the opening of their graduating students’ online degree show, OPEN 2021, an extensive online exhibition of the University of Westminster’s students’ celebrating their exceptional projects. The exhibition features work from students graduating from the Architecture BA, Designing Cities: Planning and Architecture BA, Interior Architecture BA, Architectural Technology BSc, Master of Architecture (RIBA Pt II) and Architecture and Environmental Design MSc courses.

OPEN 2021 will feature the works of more than 750 students, drawing on the vast body of developmental and finished work imagined and realised over the course of the last academic year. It will transform student work into digital assets, creating an extraordinary display of new architecture and a compelling visitor experience.

The event will start with a welcome address from the Head of the School of Architecture + Cities Professor Harry Charrington, followed by a keynote address from Sunand Prasad at 6.30pm on the OPEN 2021 website. The virtual show will then continue at 7.00pm.

About Architecture and Cities is a research umbrella comprising five distinct research groups based in the University's Department of Architecture: Architectural History and Theory, Environment and Technology, Expanded Territories, Experimental Practice (EXP), and Representation, Fabrication and Computing. These are loose alignments of academics, research students, designers and practicing architects who undertake joint research initiatives and organise events of common interest.
