Join us for a walk around Regents Park Estate in Camden, guided by former resident and local historian Peter Heath, and architects Matthew Lloyd (Matthew Lloyd Architects) and Alex Ely (Mæ) who will discuss their respective designs for infill housing on the estate.

Regents Park Estate, built in 1951 to replace housing destroyed in the London Blitz, covers a vast area from Hampstead Road to Regents Park. In 2013, three blocks on the estate's North West corner were designated for demolition to accommodate the construction of the planned HS2 railway line, leaving hundreds of residents at risk of displacement. To rehouse residents close to their previous homes, the London Borough of Camden commissioned architects Matthew Lloyd and Mæ to design eight new housing blocks on empty or underused sites within the existing street layout, alongside reworked landscaping by East.
