Given in recognition of a lifetime’s work, the Royal Gold Medal is approved personally by the Monarch and awarded to acknowledge the contribution and influence made by an architect or practice who has directly or indirectly advanced the architectural profession.

This display celebrates the 2024 RIBA Royal Gold Medallist, educator, author, and curator, Professor Lesley Lokko. A luminary architect and renaissance figure who has etched an indelible mark on the global stage, learn of her ground-breaking contributions to architectural education, dialogue, and discourse from a ‘Global South’ perspective – relentlessly pursuing inclusivity and equity in the field.
