There are over 11,000 miles of coastline in the UK with seaside and coastal towns spearheading internal tourism across the nation. With the pandemic limiting options abroad, there has been a refocus on the importance of UK holiday destinations with thousands flocking to our most beloved coastal locations. Whilst there have been a number of successful modernisation efforts for our seaside towns, there are still a way to go to re-design, re-develop and reshape our coastal communities in order to create thriving locations that are better equipped for a modernising Britain.

At this event, we’ll be hearing from a range of leading figures who’ve played a part in successfully regenerating our coastal towns and those who are planning to bring forward major development masterplans to ensure their seaside towns can continue to thrive in coming years.
