Skill Up: A pavilion for Barbara Hepworth-Online workshop

Join us for this creative online workshop taking inspiration from the work of Barbara Hepworth for young people aged 15-18. You will learn a methodology for sketching an idea for a pavilion, transforming it into a model, drawing it in different scales and levels of detail.

Explore tension and compression and how materials work together you will use saved items of recycling to represent your design inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s legacy. Moving onto record your pavilion and learn about plan, elevation and section before producing a 3D perspective drawing and presenting your work to the group.
