Can you think with your hands? In the design industry, you'll often have to explain your ideas visually & on the fly - in a brainstorming session at your studio, or bringing a suggestion or change to life on-site.

Are you up to the challenge of illustrating a complex concept armed with nothing more technological than a BIC biro?

Hand drawing is an essential skill for all design professionals - and even the most talented work on refining those skills throughout their careers. For 10 years artist, architecturally trained illustrator, teacher & author Phillip Buckingham has been helping architects at every stage of their journey to enhance their hand-drawing skills, including multiple online workshops since the beginning of lockdown.

It doesn't matter if you're a new student who's still finding their technical feet, or an experienced graduate who wants to add to their existing talent, this workshop can help any Future Architect bring their ideas alive more vividly than ever.
