BAM is constructing a new state-of-the-art TV and film studio at Elstree, just north of London, home to the world-renowned Elstree Studios. The proposed development represents a significant new investment in the UK and European creative economy and will be home to Sky in partnership with sister-company NBCUniversal. The £190m development aims to be the worlds most sustainable film studios, It consist of;

- The 30 acre development is located on the east side of Borehamwood, just north of the A1, on Rowley Lane
- The project consists of 9 individual buildings plus a multi-storey car park;
- 6 Stage Buildings (3 with adjoining 3-storey Production Office Buildings)
- 2 Production Support Buildings (both with a mezzanine, and one with a 4-storey Production Office Building)
- 1 reception/admin/visitor building
- Multi-storey carpark with 908 spaces over 4 upper floors. Ground floor basecamp, facilities and parking for 120 cycles and 50 motorcycles
- Total building area of 586,000ft2

Work began on the Sky Studios Elstree in November 2020 and is due to be completed by August 2022, the project aims to delivery £56m of social value and has already created 5 new apprentice opportunities for local young people.

PPE equipment: You will require Hard hat, Glasses, Gloves, hi-vis and steel toe-capped boots. If you are unable to provide your own, please let us know, we may be able to provide some items.
