Join visual artists Bêka & Lemoine for an exclusive screening of their latest film, documenting Herzog & de Meuron’s REHAB in Basel, Switzerland.

Bêka & Lemoine have been working together for 15 years questioning through their films how people relate to architecture and urban space. Their innovative and witty cinematic work puts people at the centre of buildings and shows the surprising and moving ways spaces are used. They approach their work with an authentic interest in how people interact with contemporary architecture, capturing some of the world’s most iconic buildings through the eyes of their users, and celebrating the real life of buildings.

The film takes Herzog & de Meuron’s REHAB as its focus. REHAB, the Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology in Basel, Switzerland, is a project which Herzog & de Meuron began in the late 1990s. The project is almost 20 years old and represents the practice’s radical re-imagining of space for healing.
