The City model, produced by Pipers, is a unique way to study the history of London through the City's built environment. In addition to the historic street plan of the City and a number of heritage assets this 1:500 scale model of the city features all buildings that currently have planning permission which gives you a sneak peek at the City's future skyline.

The model is reopening for public viewing on Monday 17 May. On the first and third Friday of every month, there will be a free 20-minute introductory talk at 12.30pm. One of the knowledgeable team will introduce the 1:500 scale interactive model, revealing what it teaches about the history, present and future of the City of London.

To book on to an upcoming model talk, please click on the Tickets link.

Private model talks are available for groups of 8 or more and can be booked by contacting thecitycentre@cityoflondon.gov.uk or calling +44 (0)207 6008 362.

Please note: Face coverings are required upon entering the building and should be worn in all public areas.
