The first in The London Society series 'Changes in Work' in a post-Covid world, Colin Macgadie from BDG architecture + design explores from the point of view of our next generation of workforce - school children. The talk will show the results of a project where a group of children design their future workspace in Minecraft.

This gaming platform was chosen not just for its popularity with children but because it’s already being used to aid the design and communication of architectural projects BDG is working on and also could, in fact, democratise the whole process and be the future of how we communicate and experience the built environment ahead of investment.

The London Society

About The Society is for all those who love London. It was founded in 1912 by a group of influential Londoners concerned about the lack of planning for the future of the capital. Early members included architects, planners and engineers alongside politicians and artists. They came from a range of backgrounds and many would go on to shape Britain during the century that followed. The Society's motto is - Valuing the past; looking to the future!
