The Great Get Together is back!

Our free to enter, flagship community event is inspired by and showcases the best of East London, bringing together music, dance, arts, sports and food for all to enjoy.

This year's one-day event is set to the biggest ever as we mark 10 years since the London 2012 and Paralympic Games.

Prepare to be wowed by our main-stage line-up, expect breakthrough acts and cutting-edge music brought to you by BBC Music Introducing. Our favourites London School of Samba Parade will set the Park ablaze once more with vibrant colour and rhythmic dance, and Breakin’ Convention are back with their rap lyrics and hip-hop moves - we challenge you not to dance along. Circus acts, street theatre and an acoustic area jam-packed with up-and-coming local singers, musicians plus poets are sure to keep you entertained throughout the day.

Want to get involved? Our participatory area has plenty for you to get stuck in with, brought to you from our East Bank partners and more. From fashion illustration and zine making with London College of Fashion, to a creativity and innovation workshop with experts from the V&A. Plus, roller-skating, t-shirt making, make your own masks, salsa workshops, singing, drumming, and when you’re done, make the day even more memorable with some snaps at our photo booth.

For the more energetic of you, have a go at a range of sports including cycling, rowing on the waterways, and racing on our world-class track. If you’re coming along with the little ones, fun fair rides, face painting, and storytelling will be sure to keep them busy.

And if all that leaves you feeling a tad peckish, we don’t blame you. Our range of delicious food and beverage on the day will be guaranteed to leave your tastebuds satisfied and your bellies full.

So, what are you waiting for? Spread the word and register your interest to find out more.
