Discover beautiful and curious objects from the Royal College of Art's 2020 Ceramics & Glass MA graduate showcase.

Covid-19 brought unimaginable challenges for the RCA's renowned Ceramics & Glass MA with students having to abandon unfired work on their benches. But their frustrations quickly turned to resilience as the class of 2020 devised new ways to express themselves in a virtual world.

Now, as graduates, dispersed across the world, they continue to innovate and experiment and have created physical works for a unique presentation at the Design Museum.

Discover the power of material thinking and making and its importance in enriching our lives in imaginative and meaningful ways. Shown alongside the work of the 2020 graduate will be a ‘cabinet of curiosities’ by the current final year students, and recent examples by leading research staff in the department.
