Celebrating the decade-long collaboration between non-profit Education Africa and The University of Nottingham’s Department of Architecture, this event, hosted by Grimshaw, will raise important funds to enable the ongoing work of the partnership, building and investing in projects in Africa.

Working with Education Africa, the university continues to deliver tangible positive impacts. Over 2,000 children have been enrolled in a crèche built by Nottingham alumni, over £500,000 of direct investment in South Africa has been made, and the projects have created sustainable jobs for local communities.

The panel discussion, chaired by Nottingham Assistant Professor Peter Russell, invites speakers Elisa Engel, co-founder of Citizen Architects and a Trustee at Architecture for Humanity London, Jhono Bennet, co-founder of 1to1 — Agency of Engagement and doctoral candidate at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and Grimshaw Principal Angela Dapper, to share their insights.
