Food is commonly recognised as a way of bringing people together- in our built environment spaces to eat are not only key amenities, they are also spaces where communities gather. From ChinaTown, to the Bengali community on Brick Lane and the Latin Village in Tottenham, understanding London through its food is to understand the diversity of cultures, religions and communities within our city.

Buildings in the collection include:
- Blackbook Winery

Open City

About Open City is a charity dedicated to making London and its architecture more open, accessible and equitable. Open City engages all citizens, particularly from under-represented backgrounds, in architecture and city-making. Our programmes – from the Open House Festival and its international network, to our pioneering education projects – open up buildings, conversations and careers to those normally locked out of them.
