Our next Tranquil City Walk will take place on Sat, 23 Mar 2024, at 10:30am till 12:30pm GMT. The meeting point is the Main Entrance of Wimbledon Train Station.
We’ll be exploring how the citizen science projects happening in Merton are brilliant examples of how communities can raise awareness of local air quality. Our partner for this walk is an environmental charity creating dedicated volunteer networks for air quality monitoring - Sustainable Merton (https://www.sustainablemerton.org/)!
Following the completion of our recent IMPETUS project, we'll be also sharing our insights into how citizen science and other local urban design interventions can contribute towards creating better cities for people and the planet.
The walk will be enjoyable to anyone with an interest in nature, urban planning or just a desire to meet a diverse group of people for a chat!
We look forward to seeing you there, and keeping it tranquil!
