The People’s Pavilion returns - a participatory youth competition and skills programme that seeks to flip the script on who gets a say in the design and activation of space!
The People's Pavilion programme offers young people in East London the opportunity to gain new skills, work with leading industry figures, gain experience in design studios and enter a competition that will see a winning design team and their pavilion design built at Patchworks in Waltham Forrest - PLUS the winning team will win an all-expenses trip to Italy to explore the Venice Biennale.
Over a 2-day weekend, participants will be guided in developing their competition proposals through model making and testing, sketching and finally presenting ideas to a friendly panel of designers.
