This walking tour, exclusively tailored for the RIBA, will explore the post rebuilding of the White City area of West London.

Starting at White City underground station, we will explore how the area was reconstructed after the devastation of World War II.

On foot, we will visit a variety of buildings including housing estates, old peoples homes, churches, cultural centres, schools and other building types. We will consider the area's history and look forward to its future, as well as seeing the contrasts of post-war architectural fashion.

The meeting point for this event will be White City Station, Wood Lane, W12 7RH
